The “Way of the Bodhisattva” or Bodhicharyavatara by Shantideva is the most practice-oriented of all the Indian Buddhist texts. It contains all the key points a practitioner needs to know and is easy to study and understand. Students will be responsible for there own copy of the text (readily available at bookstores or online for download). This class requires a basic knowledge of Buddhism, and it is designed to provide beginners with the means to enter into practice by teaching meditation, basic terminology and general Buddhist concepts.
