Description: Based on the teachings of Master Seung Sahn and the tradition of Korean Zen Practice, Charlie Vitale and teachers of the Kwan Um School of Zen from the Kansas Zen Center will be teaching this two-hour class each month to help beginning meditators or individuals interested in Zen learn through instruction, discussion and practice.

Join us in helping feed the hungry at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2nd Saturdays of each month
Next volunteer opportunity: Saturday, August 14, 2010, 9 am - 11:30 am (meet at Unity Temple at 8:30 am to carpool)
Join us as we help serve meals at St. Paul's Church, located at 1300 North 18th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. It's a great opportunity to serve as well as get to know other Buddhist practitioners. If you'd like to carpool, meet in the Unity Temple lobby at 8:30 am. The serving and cleanup will take until 11:30 am. Then, for anyone wanting to join in, we'll return to the Plaza and have lunch at Blanc Burgers, next to Unity Temple.
